The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau

The capital at your fingertips

The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau was created in 1971 at the joint initiative of the Paris City Council and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry*.
It carries out two specific missions:
- Welcoming and informing visitors
- Promoting the destination in France and abroad

Fans of the capital, six tourist offices welcome you all year round. An expert multilingual team will provide information on everything that you have ever wanted to know about Paris and the Paris region. From April to November, you can also get information from the “Welcome Ambassadors” kiosks, staffed by young seasonal workers.

Atout France

Atout France, the National Tourism Development Agency of France

Atout France, France’s only state tourism agency, is responsible for promoting the development of the tourism industry, the country’s largest economic sector.

A unique strategic observation and intelligence platform: Atout France’s primary mission is to maintain a detailed and permanent system for monitoring and analysing supply and demand in the tourist market. This dual understanding of supply and demand gives the agency an expertise with great potential for added value.

Two principal and complementary missions :
- Development assistance
- Help with marketing.
